CONTENT:

This course is taught by Upstyling specialist Rose Alexis who is one of Northern Ireland's leading Bridal hair experts, learn her knowledge ,skills and techniques and how to apply them to your own clientele as she breaks down the following in to simple techniques that you can easily achieve at home or in salon.

 

STYLISTS KIT

• List of tools and products to carry in your kit
• Benefits and uses of tools and products

 

.HOW TO SET AND PREP HAIR

• Correct use of tongs, rollers and styling irons
• Product selection
• Correct techniques in sectioning and understanding of sectioning patterns. 

LEARN A RANGE OF UPSTYLING TECHNIQUES

 

• Learn simple up styling techniques and adapt them to your own personal style
• Backcombing
• Creating Texture in hair
• Building volume and shape
• Understanding proportions , face shape and building rhythm in hair
• Adding hair pieces and extensions, ponytails and Face framing
• Working with different hair textures
• Learn Hollywood waving techniques 

HOW TO STYLE , FINISH AND POLISH YOUR LOOK

• Learn how to dress hair out and the correct tools to use
• products to use to hold , finish and add shine to your completed look
• Finishing touches

HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH HAIR FOR SOCIAL MEDIA

• Rose will work with you and breakdown how to get the perfect hair photograph 
• understanding lighting
• building your own hair portfolio

This course is designed around you and the level that you are at , it is individually tailored to your own needs and what you want to achieve, whether you are a complete beginner or you are intermediate or advanced, let Rose know what skill set you have prior to the course so she can tailor it for you, so you can get your best from the lesson. 

You are not required to bring anything with you on the day , we provide everything you need to learn with at the venue.Although you are more than welcome to bring a notepad and pens if you would like to take notes throughout the day.

 

The first half of the lesson will be from 10 am to 1230pm

Lunch time 1230pm to 1pm

The second half of lesson will be from 1pm to 5pm.

Cost £250.00

Booking Deposit is £100.00 with remaining amount payable on day.

All booking deposits are non refundable in the event of a cancellation on your part.

Tea and coffee will be provided on the day. We also have a cafertia available at the studios for you to access lunch facilitys. 

 

There are a lot of car parking facilities at our studios as we are part of the Innovative factory and the cark parking is free of charge, so on the day you just come through the gates and park where is most suitable.

If you are needing to cancel your live course, please contact sales@rosealexishair.com with at least 21 days notice before the booked date for a refund. A £20 admin fee will be incurred. If you want to move your course place to another date, please give us at least 2-weeks notice so we can attempt to fill your space on the course. If we cannot fill your space we will be unable to move you or refund you.
